Very cool! do they ever hit the boat? Just curious!

Wow! Seems like there were hundreds of them. I would be afraid of hitting them. I have never been on the ocean in a boat(I was on an aircraft carrier for a few days in the Black Sea, though), that must really be something. Awesome video. Thx!

They NEVER hit the boat, at least in my experience. Every time I've been in a large pod we were only going 25-35 knots, so maybe a go-fast at speed might be a different story. My feeling is they are fairly quick, smart and agile enough to avoid fiberglass.
Come to think of it, has anyone EVER heard of a boat hitting a dolphin? |
I would never go into a pod at speed but even then i doubt you would hit one they are really fast
At one point we were going about 40 with none of them in sight and all of the sudden had a couple of them jumping out of the water right beside us But i have got wet from them splashing right beside me. |
