Is it a good value? Probably! :D Remember, Woot deals one item for 24 hours then it is GONE.

Reading the reports on the thing, it doesn't sound like its very good. My friend Mike uses the Garmin 72, he paid around $80 for it refurbished on Ebay and its worked great so far. It also has an optional dash mount and direct power wire, so you're not always eating batteries. It's a good unit for lake st. clair. I think I might buy one this spring.

You can spend more money and get a nicer unit if you want to. A unit that has custom updated paid for maps is going to be better, but the Garmin 72 is actually pretty nice for running around the lake with.
