UT-

Seems to be working just fine. You'll need that in Havasu. Both the camera and the motor. The motor looks sweet!

OK, so I am bored last Saturday. My wife and daughter are off doing horse stuff, what do I do with myself. Decided to take my new digital camera to Eliminator and practice on boats. While there, I get talking to Jim Foley, their National Sales Manager. He shows me this 25’ Daytona in their show room with the above kewl engine. Turns out it’s the 144 mph Daytona that Dustin Whipple posted about.
Thread: 144 Mph
Interesting thing - its for sale. Jim takes me to his desk where he is working up the invoice. Here is the breakdown:

Model 25” Daytona $54,292
1,350hp Pfaff engine $55,000
Imco drive & transmission $14,325
Kevlar&Carbon fiber layup $11,000
Misc options ?

Total $144,895

The Pfaf engines includes the killer Whipple Quad Rotor Supercharger in the picture. The Kevlar & Carbon fiber layup is suppose to save 400 pounds and still be stronger. Pretty cool and only $1,000 per mph! Be the first one on your block with one of these pocket rockets. Give Jim a call at 909-681-1222 (left coast time).

Something is wrong with the camera. The carbs are sideways and I am seeing double blowers. Yikes!

Must be that Mirror Image program that came with the camera Eliminator does do some of the best in the mold gelwork I have ever seen. Just glad I'm not the one making the repairs when it gets a scratch. Yikes!!!
