Default Got my 1st real boat today
I just got my 1st real power boat. I just got a 2000 Checkmate 259 with a 502 mag in it. Has al the goodies with trim tabs, indicator and hydraulic steering. I hope this turns out to be a good boat. Has a mirage 25p 3 blade prop now so i'm hopeing he boat is decently quick and can break the 60mph mark.

Congrats! I have a 25' Switzer with a 454 Mag. I run a 23p Mirage and run at 5000rpm and a 25p Mirage and runs at 4800rpm and hit 60 with both.

Should easily break 60. Mirage or Mirage Plus? Nice beefy easily upgradeable motor.
