+1 on the GoPro (I have three). Get the new HD model as it is much improved and comes with a Li-Ion battery. The others will eat aaa batteries very quickly.

Ive ordered a gopro but havnt used it yet..Heard alot of good things about gopro.

The quality is three to four times better on tv. It shoots 1080p....

They will not look quite as good on a bigscreen as the more expensive HD camcorders, but still a very nice image. The biggest thing to consider is light. On a very cloudy day or during dusk/dawn the image will be a little dark. With good light your going to get great video.

here is one of my vids using the go pro hd. looking for free editing software...some of my vids are too big for youtube and i want to cut them down. i know there is another thread on this and i am going to search for it.
