wet stringers/bulkheads
hey guys my stringers and bulk heads are wet and heavy but not rotten
what shall i do cheers gerard |
damage is most likely already done. Even if you can dry it its not long before it comes apart. Once that water gets in there the swelling of the wood and (not sure if this applies) freezing/thawing can cause permanent damage at the cellular level and also the laminations.

Doing my 24 Pantera now, cant post pics here, but I got the transom out, notched the stringers, they seem OK, but may do the back few feet just to be safe.
