Default What's the market for a 51' OL?

A long-time boating buddie is selling his 51' OL because he's having a new one built.

Anyone know what the market is like for a used 51'? Any advice is appreciated;

My friend has one that has been sitting at $350k for a while. And he is getting ready to drop it further.

Sweet looking boat, I just wonder if the Bravo 1's are going to hurt the resale? That's alot of boat to push with XR's.
Good luck to him in this economy.

The bravo's are going to kill the boat.

51 foot and xr's have a chance of breaking any given weekend on 3-4 foot waves.

He hasn't had problems if at all with the drives for the past 4-5 years he's owned the boat and we boat in rough water.

It's a reliable boat...we go boating together almost every weekend in the summers.

Beautiful boat! I don't shop for 51 OL's very often , but the price seems a bit high, given the relatively mild power, Bravo's and in particular, this market. I think if he really wants to move it, the price will have to come down... all that being said, I wish I had $400K lying around!

Thanks for the input...

At this price point, if someone were seriously interested in buying the boat I suggest all interested buyers should call for more information.

I will never be able to drop that kind of cash on a boat but it has got to be tuff when this boat has not sold in six months
