Beautiful boat! I don't shop for 51 OL's very often , but the price seems a bit high, given the relatively mild power, Bravo's and in particular, this market. I think if he really wants to move it, the price will have to come down... all that being said, I wish I had $400K lying around!
In my opinion everything is fine, with the exception of the economy. to me any outerlimits is custom for the original owner, thats the hardest bridge to cross.

A long-time boating buddie is selling his 51' OL because he's having a new one built.
Anyone know what the market is like for a used 51'? Any advice is appreciated;

The boat was built in 2005, and the customer chose this power over the 850's & 1075's. This is a great running boat and has been maintained with an open checkbook. The tripple 600's are a great packsge, the boat is still a 100 mph + boat, cruises well, great fuel economy, handels around the dock well, and eats the big water.

For the others....the owner of this boat was also the previous owner of "Saks" boat. You know, the one with the Gellners that everyone loved so much! When he had the boat it had stock575sci's and loved it...also no drive issues with that boat and it was something like 1500-2000 lbs heavier than this one which is Epoxy...

Yep, have been on quite a few runs with this 51 and it is a awesome boat! The owner does maintain it with an open checkbook as stated before. I believe it has also won best looking boat before at some PRA events! You cant beat a 51 Outerlimits for room, speed, and ride.

There is a 2009 Cig 42X w/ 700's in Powerboat that has an asking price of $399K. For 400K or so, that would be the boat to have in that price range.
