It should be a decently quick boat? good acceleration? I wish it were nice enuogh to take it for a spin and find out for myself
I think you'll be VERY happy with that package! Like others said, that 502 will be great reliable motor and easily upgraded.

Has a mirage 25p 3 blade prop now so i'm hopeing he boat is decently quick and can break the 60mph mark.
Nice you should break 60 easily. The prop calculator I use puts you in the 67 range. My buddy has a 23' Checkmate with a 454 mag and he runs over 70 not sure what prop he has.

That's what I kept doing wrong with my 28' 65mph boat so I fixed that in '07. Like they've all said you're so screwed.

I picked up a 25ft Sunsation Aggressor with a 502 MPI in it last september and couldn't be happier. With my dumbass driving with only 6 runs worth of seat time, a full tank of gas and 4 adults we were a tad over 60 on the GPS. I'm running a 4blade 26p mirage prop. I also must say when I was running it at the end of last year I didn't know how to get it going (i.e. drive was all the way down and my prop had 2 bent blades I didn't notice when I bought it, so that 502 is more than enough to get well into the 60s in stock form).

Got any pics?

Like all the others said, you have a nice boat there. It is a well made all around perf boat. I have a '96 253 with a 502 mpi turning a 4 blade Bravo 1 24P @ 5000 rpm and it goes in the mid 60's pretty easily. You should easily see the same results I would think.

Congrats and remember

Have a friend with the same boat but with a 454 mag 385 H/P and it ran 68 on gps so you should see 70 with no problem and welcome
