Default BCP30 Deck Plug Being Built

Here's some pics of the new deck plug being built for the new DCP30. The hull female mold has already been built with a single step and two hulls pulled All viynlester and balsa cored. Foam Stringers & Transom. Deck should be completed and female deck mold built by late November. Looking to have the first two boats ready for rigging by Christmas. Approximatre hull and deck weight should be around 2400LBS. First boat will have a Carolina Racing 850HP coupled to a #6 drive.

Will that engine/drive be a little heavy for the boat? Maybe the pics deceive the hull depth.

Looks like a great idea, a competitor to the Howard 28 and other single engine stepped deep vees.

Who is building it? BCP? DCP? PCP? DCB?
