Superboat 30 Y2K with 800hp and a Konrad Ace drive! Only have a few hours on it but seems to be preety good sofar.

I ran xr's on my 540's with 10-71's on top, blew them like it was my job. I would go a bit heavier duty with that power

I either see people post with old standard B1's that last for years or XR's that dont last 10 hours. I guess its all about what its on and how its driven.:confused:

It will depend on the weight of the boat as well as how much you want to baby the drive.

arnesons the only way to go buy once and never have to mess with it again. they make a bravo conversion kit so you can keep the motor in the same place the trans fits in the housing its a great setup.

Ok...just asking...aren't Arnesons designed more for 2 engine cats and not so much for a deep vee 28 ft single? :eek:

What do the IMCO's go for $$$-wise? There seems like such a huge gap between Bravo's / XR's and the big toys. IMCO's may be a decent alternative?
