Stringer Repair?

We have a 1996 Donzi LE Blackhawk and the stringers have rotted out on us due to lack of fiberglass in the drain holes towards the transom. We are located in Indianapolis, IN but willing to travel to get it done right. What is a good shop to do this? Would it be worth our time to de rig the boat and do all the prep work or just pay to have it done?

Drag it to Florida and let Rich Sutphen Jr. do it. He is in Cape Coral and has repaired many of these.

GlassDave is much closer and seems to know his stuff... If I were you I would de-rig it yourself, if you have the know-how... It'll save you a ton of coin and you'll have the gear at your place if you want to update the motors/drives at all.

Bring it down to your place in Punta Gorda and drop it off with Richie Sutphen Jr. in Cape Coral. He just did a major structural repair on my Cig. He came highly recommened. He is currently replacing a transom on a 1990 Top Gun. His number is 239-220-0805.

Glass Dave. He just did that same job on a Donzi that size
