how fast will she go?

I just redid the 310 hp engine in the 22 scarab. I pulled off the peanut heads and put on GM hi po's rec ports. I put in the crane cam for the 420 horse motors with matching springs and a dart high rise and a 750 carb and gafrig arrestor, I already had stainless exh . with the old motor I went 68 at 5200 with a 23 3 blade mirage and 69 with a 4 blade 26 bravo 4 blade. I dont know what rpm because my tach died. tomorrow I am going to run it, anyone have any ideas on a top speed?

Add 100hp get about 10 mph or so good luck Ironman

78 would do me fine for now, I spoke to another guy who put a 502 in his 22 and said that the terminal speed for that hull is 82.
if I hit 78 with what I have figure I can get ther rest with a bit of tweeking/prop change ect. enough for the rest of the season, then on to a bigger one!!!!

I am very interested in your stats after the new upgrades .
I have a 1988 22' Pachanga and I am putting a 365 hp with some upgrades. I went with a cam very similar to the cam used in the 420.Better springs and the Crane Gold Roller Rockers, Victor JR Intake. Also had the heads decked .030 and gone through. I will run the Imco Ex on the 365. I have not made a choice on the carb yet

Before my 330hp went I was seeing 66 mph all the time and some 68.4 flasses on the GPS ,rpm only 4500.

The upgades on that were Performer RPM intake,650 Deamon and Imco Ex. Prop was a labbed 23 Mirage.

I am also wondering what I will see out of the new set-up.
My buddies think my efforts will only see 70-71 mph. I am hoping for 75 but could live with 73
