Talking Finished my Stereo SWEEEEET

OK, I finished yesturday my stereo in the Fountain, Man does it scream, Here is what I have

Sony Explode Indash CD,
6 disc changer w/ anti skip
Sony White Wired Remote w Display
2 Punch 250 amps
4 Kicker 6 1/2 marine speakers
2 Sony 6 1/2 Marine speakers
2 Kicker 10" Competition Subs in Sealed enclosures (purple)
to match trim in interior.
2 MB Quart Marine Tweeters

If I had it to do over again I would go with the MB Quart 6 1/2, because their tweeters are second to none, (ear Piercing)

Yes I installed all myself, and it was a pain. I sat in the boat yesturday for an hour just cranking tunes, it sounds and feels like a intence RAVE

27Fountain,

Sounds like a killer system! Where did you mount your amps? Where are your subs?

I am almost finished with my stereo too and was just wondering if you had as much fun as I did!

My system:

2 JL Audio 10" subs mounted under rear seat.
2 Alpine 6.5" 2 ways mounted under rear seat.
2 Eclipse 8062 6.5" component speakers with tweeters mounted on dash(one next to trim gauge and one next to glove box door.)
1 JL Audio 250 watt amp for subs
1 JL Audio 300 watt 4 way amp.

I haven't decide what to do in the cabin yet.

I put the amps under the sink/cooler. It was either there or behind the drivers dash ....

Came in to take a break.... and saw your post. I just gotta hook up the battery cables and I'm set!!

Fever500

Lets see here, I almost put my tweeters where you did, I actually put mine on the sides, one beside grab bar and other infront of panel of switches on rt, pain in the ass, I had to remove the steering wheel to drill there. As for amps, mounted under back seat, and subs are the best, I custom built two enclosures to fit under front seats, in that little space when bolsters are down. Then covered them in purple fabric to match interior. 1 pair of speakers in front quarter panels, other two in back seat. original pair in the cabin.

For fun I itched for days, but its done thank God its done.

Hey Fever500 you going to make it to Lake Murray Poker run???

those systems will rock. nice. I put in a Sony Explode deck with the $29.remote, 1-300 jl 4 channel and a 600 prestege sub amp.bridged 4 - Kickers w/ tweeters and mids and 2-12s in a nice ported box in my F-2 canopy boat. Metalica in the milling circle is a must
