Got my stringer estimate whats your thoughts?
I have to get my stringer fixed on my 29ft. baja outlaw. Twin 454's.
The stringer is beyond just getting tagged, it does need replaced. How much should something like this cost me labor plus supplies. Motor is out already.
I got my estimate in today I can PM if your interested.
Thanks for the help.

did you end up finding more then just superficial damage? Who did you get an estimate from?

Well it depends on what year 29 you have. They had major problems withe the stringers in that boat early on.Depends on how long you ran the boat also but most of the 29s just needed the stringers done with minimal damage else where.

$2K for ONLY the fiberglass/wood work seems reasonable. I've never had it done, just going off of what I've seen friends pay. Seems like people allways shy away from giving estimates on the forums. So if someone can tell me if I'm over or under then atleast you can get a ballpark figure.
