We all prayed for Big Seas......and our prayers have been answered:
Even had the Intracoastal kicking up some chop:
The winds have done some damage and will drop off slightly on Tuesday:
Checkout the photos from the Storm today:

Was not pretty this was a lot worse than expected the main road in Long Beach Island was flooded had to drive down the center.Went over to check the boat on the lift and a few snaps on the cover had blown loose.Docks were under water so I went slow let the boat down and fixed it.In retrospect probably not the brightest thing I have ever done but did not want the cover loose.
Was told that they reported 90 to 100 mph winds on L.B.I so I guess I got lucky would have put it on the trailer Sunday but we usually don't get these this late.Just glad there were not a lot of boats in yet at my marina this could have been really bad

I hate to say "told ya so" but I am...... Told Ya So!!!! http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ight=noreaster
This is a picture of my friends boat down in Leonardo in the Nor'easter yesterday... You can't tell from the picture but there is a large bulkhead in the water that is "supposed" to protect the boat from the waves in the bay. If you take a look at where the ropes are tied on the piling you can see how much the water was above normal....
I guess I better take my lunch break and go check on my boat to make sure there isn't any damage.
