Default 502 crank balancing? External or internal?

Is the 502/465 HP Gen IV crankshaft internally or externally balanced?

All 502's are externally balanced.

...so a 502 crank and a 454 crank are the same?

Re: balancing & 4" stroke?
The crankshaft itself is the same. The amount of material drilled from the counterweights may be different from a 454 to a 502. The reciprocating mass is different from one to the other.
