This is a neet thread it shows the roots of a bunch of guys that love boating (me included) and in my mind thats what this place is all about (a bunch of boater's having fun with boats) not a spelling test our poking a stick at someone less fortunate then someone else, don't get me wrong if you hang out at my shop it's a tuff crowd and at the end of the day we all leave laughing but where all face to face and tone of voice and facial exspresions work a lot better then (lol) and (wtf)
So here's my list, all built or rebuilt by me and my bud's
year 1979 bought a 1969 18 foot hydrodyne from my cousin my best freind and I made it into a 318 mopar powered jet boat complete with the original spring loaded front seat and a gas peddle (not the best combo) but we had a blast
year 1986 16 foot sidewinder 115 hp tower of NO power,35 mph and 6 gal of gas to go 4 mil at wide open we 86 the clamp on and go with a fresh 318 and a jet,I ran this boat till 1994 (the fastest jet in my end of the pond for a long time)
year 1995 buy a new unrigged 19 foot lightning tunnel jet.
first rigg is a 440 mopar single 800 cfm pump gas, great ride and ran great, secound rigg 427 cheve 94 oct tunnel ram doms, run better lol third rigg 446 mopar 871 blower, now where on to somthing(this is when I kill a seagull with my forhead at 100 + mph)
During all this I come across a 1976 21 foot hydrodyn deck boat must have and still have its on the third motor now and the secound rebuild of the balsa core hull( the girls would not let me through it away) 1st motor 4 cyl chev 2nd motor v6 chev 260 hp third motor 355 chev roller 425 hp-65 mph ,to funny.
where was I ..sold the lightning and bought the old printers devil class 4 boat one of the current projects ,should be in the water this year.
O yea and the 1954 feathercraft (fiberglass) 12 foot long and twin 15 hp clamp ons,its the water golf cart for the marina.
I have been a boater since I was 5 my uncle always had the fastest boats on the lake back then so I blame or thank him for my addiction.
I made boating my profession and doing so have had the opportunity to build and run some really cool fast stuff.
Fastest stuff thats out of my shop (and one of my good friends and customers)33 cat 135 mph,19 carbon kevlar jet 125 mph in 1000 feet and a 95 mph tunnel deck on pump gas.
Current builds (for one of the best guys around)42 fountain staggered 950 blower 540's on arnesson drives.
If you look at my avitar these are family and friends boats, some I built some just get to play with.

1993, 1994, and 1996 Yamaha Waveblasters (still have all 3... I might have a problem...)
