Formula install them just ahead of the forward step on the 370SS and 400SS. They work fine at WOT on both boats

Ive personally never had any luck getting a reade off a transducer in a planing hull no matter where its placed.

MAYBE you can get a reading off a simple bottom finder (just a #) but any kind of detailed bottom track at speed - nope.

Mine quites working as soon as I put it in gear. I just figured it was connected to the shifter. :eek:

Mines located in front of the step.
