Desert Storm is a Mind Blower
Waiting for my flight to San Francisco from Las Vegas. Ready to get home but ... Desert Storm was incredible. Hats off to all involved, http://www.boats.com/boat-content/20...ff-the-charts/.
And a huge thanks to my friend Tim Sharkey, who came up with the brilliant idea of posting my voicemail updates to him from this amazing event. (His idea was brilliant. Not so sure about my voice mails.)

Tank, I will catch up to you.
Tom ... You are forgetting the sign Bob posted at the Tiki Bar, "Drinks on Matt Trulio from Powerboat."
Thank god it was only up for 45 minutes or it would have cost me another $500.

Matt, it was great meeting you and all of the Powerboat staff, yesterday was hot but really cool, I hope Johnny didn't scare you in my boat, atleast you didn't hurt your toe on my boat. Again great meeting you and I am sure I will see you on other events.

Great meeting you, too, Jeff, and not to worry ... Johnny didn't scare me. This time.
You're right, Bill. Desert Storm is great. I've never been a huge Havasu fan, but this one could convert me.
Wish I could make the Jacksonville run. I've heard nothing but good things.

You're not going to Jax? Too bad. Thats also a GREAT run. I agree, While I'm not a big fan of Havasu as a town etc, the run is so big it overshadows everything anyway

Everyone I spoke with so far really loved the UPDATES from you, being as so little information was coming out of the Desert...
To have an on scene update like that really worked out great for all of us that couldn't make the event...
This message had been broadcasted over several well populated websites as well as Face Book & Twitter.
I did my best to get the word out !
