I was on the pier when they went by like that. Piece O cake for those guys, its really not that close until they start swap'in colors. 
That section of the course looks like a straight away but its actually a bend to the stbd (right) into the harbor. I'm sure the door looked like it was closing if they didnt get a nose in there.
I believe that was the last race for the 'ol girl. Great boat right there.
