Whipple Charged,
Got a couple 1075 sci's 2008 vintage
currently one has a boost valve fail (gonna verify)
question..
What I would like to do is turn the 1075's down to 850
hoping they would top out slower, with less boost, and last a little longer
and burn 89 between 93 fillups..?
think that is doable?
can they be reprogrammed for that or better to buy new gen?
engines need modified much?
thanks
Mark

There are only three things that cause an IAC failure code:
IAC itself.
Wiring harness.
PCM.
If you have replaced the IAC, but still have a code after clearing; inspect the wiring harness and connectors as they can melt.
If you have more than one engine, swap the questionable ECU over to the other engine, as this will either tell you have a PCM issue, or an overall engine wiring harness issue.
