Anyone here in the die-cut sticker business??
I know there are all kinds of business owners here, so I thought I'd toss it out there.
All I want is a white die-cut of the Formula 'Thunderbird' logo. Just the bird, not the word Formula. I went to my local sign guy and they want $65!!! A place I used to go to have my reg numbers made in die-cut is no longer around. Anyone? Thanks. |

Do you already have the bird logo in a vector file or would someone need to create the logo? To be honest if the logo needs to be created then $65 is not that bad of a price!

I guess I didn't know what was/is involved, just thought that seemed like a lot of scratch. More that I would want to spend for a sticker. Like I said, I used to have a guy who would do up beautiful reg. numbers on die-cut sheets very inexpensively.......maybe that's why he's no longer around. :lolhit: |
I have the logo and can cut it for you in any size or color you want. email me a [email protected]

You 'vectorize' it. Can be a time consuming process depending on the quality of the image you are working from. Most shops charge $60-75/hr for the service. Cutting reg numbers is a totally different thing- you just type them in. *edit stickerboy to the rescue! |
There are two types of files: vector and bitmap. Bitmaps are photos, made up of pixels. No good for cutting. Vectors are basically outline paths that can be enlarged or reduced infintely. Sounds confusing, whats "vectorize" is that the same thing as energize?
Like I said, it can be time consuming and time=money. |
