We just took in a hydra-tech cat. That looks and runs awsome.
36' long 9' beam. Dave Hunter paint. 1/4 canopies. Drove the boat the other day and it ran 70mph at 2500rpm. Has twin 1000hp Bandit motors in it with 1 Hour. and #5's. Does anyone know anything about these hulls and how they run I was impressed I know the company makes fishing boats now. This boat was built in 93 and redone in 02. Haven't seen any others for sale and I am wondering why, because this boat runs true and nice like a top of the line cat should.

Hey Tague,
The Hydra Tech catamarans were built in Brick N.J. on the famous Mantalocking Rd. A couple of Hi Perf rigging shops raced them back in the early 80's. One is still being raced in C class by Ron Roman. You can contact Kurt's Competition Marine in Brick N.J. and also Pro Roc Marine in the same town.

Hydra Tech is about a 1/2 mile from my house. They build fast fishing cats and the race boat molds are on the side of the building. They are located on Fischer Blvd in Toms River NJ. Their shop is only big enough to build one boat at a time.

What do you guys think that this boat is worth. I know that it will run 150mph+++. And everything is fresh with a new al. trailer.
