Have not tried either of these, both big names for sure. I have had good luck with GGB marine mufflers, ( www.ggb.ca) Ive had them on one of my boats a few years back and am having them build me a set right now on my new boat. Cut the sounds and didnt lose and speed.

I would go with IMCO! they were the first to design and produce a Gatling style muffler. Then Borla comes along and takes the design and runs with it. What else does Borla do for the boating community? Imco is there at every turn and are real innovators.

I had a set of the IMCO's and absolutely loved then. Stay with the original.

If you are trying meet a DB requirement the CMI sound elimination muffler is one the very few that pass tests of 90db or less.

We use sell and install both brands. The Borla muffler is a bit more exclusive, however a nice product for larger hp motors. The Imco works well also, however the choice will depend on the available room for the muffler, the engine specs and the look you may want to achieve. Here is a video of one of our 725 efi engines with a pair of the Borla's on it. Thanks

I have Imco Gatlin style on my boat, they worked very well. I removed them and noticed no difference except a bunch louder. I have Teague 1,200's in my boat.
