Dock Service?
When pulling in to a nice resturant on the water, how much is the standard tip for the service of being tied up and the ladies being helped out of the boat?

Providing you dont have to ask for the help and its competent.
I find a fiver keeps the scratches away and the guys ok. Uncle Dave |
depends where you boat. Miami/Ft. Lauderdale 20-30. Rest of the country 10

Unless you get off the boat wearing a tux, I would say a five spot is sufficient.

20 at Trump they always find me a spot.

Yeah- ok this is a "tip modifier" If you dont see a spot or arent pulling up to it directly - and 2 guys need to move your boat to the spot and go get it then a 20 is the right amount. 5 for a quickie "rope and hold"- 20 for a full service park job. UD |
