There are four marinas in the downtown Grand Haven area.....The City Municipal (that week it goes by lottery), North Shore (wrong side of the river in my opinion), the Yacht club, and The Warf. All will be full that weekend. You might try Barrets, Grand Isle, or....damn.....what's the name of the place on the left side as you come into Spring Lake????? Shoot!!!!!!!

If you just can't find anything there, Muskegon is only 12 miles north, and Great Lakes is a nice place to stay. Lot's of OSO members run out of that marina.

Mike

CG Festival

Keenan Marina!!!!! C'mon Mike, you're losing it!! Whitey, if you don't mind running at night, Muskegon would be an excellent choice, you could also see if Harbor Towne(directly south of the channel) has some transient slips open, no floating docks, but everyones really friendly there.
You should also consider coming to TC for the cherry festival, the Blue Angels will be back July 6&7 -nothing like watching 'em from the West Bay.

Let me know if you need more info,
Paul

Hey Boathead, do we need to have an OSO gathering for the Blue Angles?? I usually watch them every year, but from shore. Boring!! The boat would be MUCH better. Whatcha think??

give me a call or e-mail if you need anything else,

'foul:
sounds like an interesting proposition, we just have to get everyone up there early if they want to launch in Greilickville, some might have to launch in Northport or Elk Rapids, Suttons Bay is kinda tight.
