See that hose going out the back, that has to go outside.

I have one of the 12,000 BTU Soleus units. I returned it once under warranty as it just went dead. The replacement unit ran okay through warranty but shortly after the warranty period the electronics started locking up. The unit is heavy and I would not call it a portable or carry-on unit. The vent hose does have to be run out of the area being cooled, out a window, hatch, etc.
