do you mean the the Formula 330ss?

If so, it is a popular boat down here, a couple of friends own them and they have been good boats.

Good performance with the Bravo 3's. In fact one neighbour uses his as a wakeboat.

Formula 330SS all day over the 32 PQ. Performs very well with just 350 MAGs/Bravo III's. PQ made a nice boat but the 28 and 32 SC's they made never really took off and the company is long since out of business.

Don't know where you budget is but on a much lower end than the Formula there is a boat made by Monterey. They were called the 298 but now 318. Same boat one name included the length with the swim platform one didn't. They will run about 60 with twin small blocks, has a crawl in 2nd berth under the cockpit, nice interior and thru hull (on the sides) exhaust if you want to hear your small blocks. Check it out it may meet your needs.

No other mass builder will match Formula quality. And the 330SS is a great all around boat. But the one thing both my friends that own them have commented on and I have felt is the ride quality. They have a wide beam so they run more like a cruiser hull than a performance hull. Which means when it gets rough you have to slow down. Whereas a performance hull can get up on top and run, the 330 doesn't like that. But it is a great party boat and you can take a lot of your friends with you.

PQ SC build quality was very good. Formula wiring would be better. Resale would be better with the Formula.

I agree, not the best ride when it gets to 3 footers, but otherwise does well.
