Honestly, with only 1 to 2 footers both of these boats will ride through it with NO problem. 3-4's and it becomes a very rough and airy ride. At this point, whichever boat you can get a better deal on seems most logical.

nice I am on Raystown. You have a speed limit dont you? I had a 21 skater copy with twin 280s. Thats a beast man you will love it. Bring the new boat up some time. I have a 29 warlock. I also have a place in Margate NJ you should definitely bring the boat down there.

1-2's measured from waterlinet o top of crest or to trough right, not trough to crest correct? i guess what makes this lake worse at times as i said is its all boat wakes from every direction but i would assume any body of water ends up like that with enough boats on it.

right below AC. I can see the casinos from my deck. My brother has a marina there. We have a big fork lift so we can take the boats out every day and flush them. Awesome time.

A 29/30 will be a drastic change from your current 24, especially in the snot. Night and day difference I bet. As mentioned there will be some trade offs that may need to be made - light usually means faster but a bit "airy", heavier is slower but will give you a better ride and possibly a more controlled feel to it.

True 1-2' seas can be run at whatever speed you want to take the punishment at. I have run over 100mph in true 1' seas, in fact it runs the fastest with a solid 1' chop. you can never let go of the throttle though, because these things air out pretty easily.
Last year I ran down the coast to watch the Ocean City races in solid 3-4' seas, it was bumpy to say the least. Granted these were ocean waves, not the short spaced Chesapeake Bay waves or lake waves, but we still ran 50+mph the majority of the way.
