220 Eagle XP, dude have you run continuity tests on your plug wires to determine they are your problem? If so contact Jacobs and they'll replace any bad ones. If you haven't, you should. Hunting around for an ignition problem by buying parts gets expensive fast. I have run Jacobs 8.5's on everything I own for 5 years without a problem, I think they are the best available. Jacobs even warrantied 2 of my plug wires that came out of the loom and burnt through on the headers on my GMC and grounded out, you can't beat their service.

I use Jacobs on one boat MSD on the other. Never had trouble with either as log as the boots are glued on. If you see black lines around the boot voltage is blowing out. The Jacobs are the are the easest to assemble .
