Unhappy steering issue's

I have a 1990 220 reinell offshore, looks just like a mirage. I'm having some sketchy steering issues. It's a cable with power steering, with hydraulic assist. Never had issues before. Had to pull motor to fix alignment issues, put everything back together and right at 60mph it wants to turn right?? Kind of scary!! Oil is full in power steering pump. It's a king cobra drive, 500 horse 502. Any ideas on where to start?? Can get the new hydraulic assist cylinder set up for 750.00, but would like to trouble shoot a bit before spending a wad of money. It wasn't an issue before I pulled the motor... thanks again.
