137 for the statement. The 44 OL has been 144, on pump gas hard on the rev limiters. I know it will run 150 based on the props that were on it, the gear ratio we were running, & the fact that the limiters are set very conservitively. not to mention that we could put some boost to it and run good fuel, but that would take away from the fun part. We have over 60 hours on the blue boat of just plain pleasure boating. no need to go any faster.......for now.

What power where you running for that 144? Just curious, I think the Statement boat was running stock 1075's, pump gas also, I assume

Our SL 44 Has been 144 on pump gas, Full Cabin, A/C & Generator. 144 on the limiters, a little more gear & 150 is not out of the question. I'd say that is a pretty fast Pleasure Boat

the boat has OL Powertrain 1375's. 144 is ultra conservitave, 8 lbs of boost and rev limiter at 5900. the boat is set up very tame. we were so impressed with the numbers at those conservitave settings, we haven't felt the need to let them loose at 6500 and some boost. how much faster do you really need to go in a stand up full cabin pleasure boat.
we use this boat every weekend, and enjoy running 100 at 4100 rpm, so maybe when we decide to upgrade the trannies we will let her loose and see what she will do, but at 1450 lbs of torque, we are riding on the sharp edge of the knife on the trannies. so until then we are happy limping around at 144  |

How are the O/L factory motors working out. Are they a solid roller set up or hydraulic roller. Is the same engine builder that built the for Sunny Days inhouse now at O/L. What is the handling like in the boat at 140.

Yes Statements V bottom has 1075's in it, and runs 138mph. The blue one that they had at the Miami Show has 1200's in it and think it woudl be in the mid to high 140's.
