Looks fantastic Chris!!!
Pictures of my freshly painted 1986 22 Donzi classic. To be rigged with an Arneson ASD-6, 615 hp prochargered 454, Bam transmission, extension box, rolls trailer, cmi headers, k planes.
Looks fantastic Chris!!!
No one has rigged a 22 with one. A friend of mine has one on a 18 but this is pretty different then mine. What makes mine differenet is the fact the transmission is outside the boat in the standoff box. Prop is almost 5 feet aft of the transom. Boat also has 3/8" rocker in it.
Gauges will be Gaffrig Monster Platinums. I did all the glass work and body work myself. I do basically all the work mayself.
chris i though you coldn't afford my alpha!!!! and you got an arneson!!!!
Reguardless hat is damn nice lookign. Where ar eyou keepign it? up here around the Clen Cove area? If so i'd love to check it out. How do you like Webb??? i hear it is a fantastic school (if you want to be a marine architect that is).
Pardon me, while I whip this out!
Chris, She is really looking good can't wait to see the finished product.
Wow that does look very very nice.......cannot wait to hear how that asd-6 with 615hp performs.... gonna be a handful for sure... ya gotta love a handful !!
Hey Chris, the boat looks incredible!...for those who don`t know, I was the owner of this boat when new and I read about this project on Donzi.net!
How is Willie doing with my old 18 V drive Donzi?
I`d love to see it when it`s completed. Scott P. and Richard W. are planning a trip up here this summer. I found the pics of the boat when new. I hope you are going to leave the windshield off.
Again, It looks great!
Really is a small world. She has changed a lot since you owned her. I would give my left arm for those pictures. Please e mail me.
The boat won't be ready this summer. The Bravo 383 conversion for the 18 classic needs to be completed first.
Will is doing well with the V drive. Not sure when he plans to start it but he is really excited. He is finishing up a real nice resto of a 13 Whaler first.
I might come up this summer at least with the 18.
Looks like it is going 100mph already.
Is that paint or gel?
Either way, WOW!
