Can you guy's send me in the right direction for the best surveyor in LOTO? I hope they are better with the boats than calling people back Even if you try to give someone money they don't want to work

Bolz and Bolz

ANd it may not be that they don't want to work, there is the possibility that they are actually busy.

I've used both. Boltz was not nams or sams certified last I knew which you need for insurance or many banks. That may have changed.

I was very happy with Daves work as well and would use him again.

Unfortunately, the locals are pretty much that way. I have been told every day for the last 8 days that a company was going to get out and look at my lift that day (as the boat sits in the water). In our "come to Jesus" phone conversation this morning, they promised that today was the day. I just hope that the fish aren't biting.

That being said, Bolz and Bolz did one for me several years back on an older boat (the bank required it). I thought it seemed high, but I went ahead and paid insurance based on that value. That winter, the roof of the dock came down on it (snow/ice load) and totaled the boat. The insurance company offered about 50% of the survey value. Once I showed them the survey, they paid me that minus the deductible with no more questions asked.

Thanks for the reply's I have David Davis doing the survey! The credit union wants a surveyor with the SAMS rating and only them! David was very helpful on the phone and very profesional with everything down to the emails.

Bolz & Bolz Marine Survey is now run by me, "Brad." I am a member of ACMS, which is an advanced certification group. I'm also ABYC. Every insurance & finance company I'm aware of accepts my surveys and those memberships. www.BolzMarineSurvey.com My phone is: 660.341.1234. At some older sites online it shows our phone as 346.5862 which has been disconnected for years. I'm trying to get those references deleted.
