I've heard newspaper works too...

it has been some time, however I had a set that were very hazy with surface hairline cracks. I started with 800 grit and got no where. Started again with 320 and sanded aggressively using a DA/ Dry. Canopy turned "white" and I removed a lot of material. Thought I ruined the canopy, but I worked my way up to 1000 and the canopies came out great and very clear

A work of caution - too much time in one spot will create a "lens" and even though it is clear you may have a spot that is magnified. Keep you sanding tools moving.

Were they polycarbonate? Did you use anything after the 1000 grit?
Thanks

There is a kit called Micromesh which is ideal...
That's the stuff. Depending on the age their probably 350kt strike,
newer ones are 550kt. If I remember correctly, 3 layers composed of polycarbonate on the inside and outside and acrylic in the middle.

Any aircraft mechanic can point you in the right direction to a
company in your area that provides the service.

If they are crazing (little hairline cracks in the acrylic), there
is nothing you can do but call Skater.
