2010 LOTO Shootout 208 m.p.h. Top Gun
David,
Congratulations on the 208 m.p.h. "piston powered" Top Gun Title! You have worked so hard and really deserve it.
As always David, you and Johnny did a great job in the boat to make this happen for the entire crew and for all our great fans.
It was nice to finally get both engines "happy" so we could make make multiple test passes, the 208 Saturday run and have the engine still OK for more if necessary.
Thanks again for allowing us to work with you on this project and for everything else you do!
Thanks to David, Johnny, Myrick, Clinton, Lance, Rodrick, Robert Allen, Jordan, Gina, Sherry for everything you do to make this race team a success. I also want to thank, Mike Faucher, and Gary Sellin for your help with this project.
As always, we learned from this experience and have a few more "tricks up our sleeve" should we need them in the future.
Congratulations and thanks again to everyone,
Lucky

Spoken like a true engine builder!
Seriously tho, "Thank You Lucky" for your friendship, your efforts, your knowledge and your unrelenting attention to detail. Without anyone of these, none of this would have been possible.
Looks like our lil shootout/kilo engines are definitely on the right track buddy!

Tell us about the difference in running these engines and say your 1550's... if you don't mind.
It looks like there wasn't much between idle and WFO. Do you have full ability to ease into the power or is like some of the blown alcohol drag engines where the valve is on or off?
How many passes did you feel like these would have gone assuming you needed it?
Awesome showing to start off with that run at 208. One and done!
