I've been boating on Lake Erie on Cigs, Formulas, Scarabs, Donzis, Bajas, Powerquest, and Apache..... maybe more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head (thank God for lots of friends who like having me around):D Anyway, all have handled the Lake Erie waters fine (also thank God for captains who know what the hell they are doing) and it seems that the every time I was in a boat with big water, it was in Bajas (6 to 8s)

The two best user friendly boats that I have been on is the Scarab and the Bajas. The 30 Outlaw has been the best for creature comfort..... Scarab a close second. I agree with the dont rule out a boat if it doesnt have a working head. The porta potty works just fine .... and being female .... I use it a lot .... and clean it too:D Air conditioning/heat is pretty important for the overnights at the islands so a boat with air/heat and a porta potty would so beat a boat with a working head and no air/heat in my book :coolcowboy:

There arent too many bad go fast boats out there so you just need to try out as many different boats as you can and go with the one that feels the best to you. Everybody is different just like every boat is different. Find the one that fits you. Good luck! :bunny:

3-5??? 5 feet would be if my wife was standing on the surface of the water and a wave was over her head. She's 5'3" .

Baja 322

I would agree with everyone on those boats. The key is finding one! Due to the down economy there are not that many boats for sale right now.
I have 322 Baja with twin 454's that does 70mph. I boat of out of Erie, PA. Very good starter boat. Has enclosed head, frig, microwave, sink, tv. I am thinking about moving into something else. Always freshwater and professionally maintained. Triple axle Continental trailer that is in better than new condition.
PM me if you would like to come out and look at the boat. I will be putting it into Winter Storage Mid-October.
