Maybe the owner should sue the salvage company. "Everything worked fine the first time they brought her up. Now none of these electronics work and the engines are shot."

A couple of points of information... the boat does not look like a 60' The curvature of the side glass changed in 1991 on most Oceans, this one has the old look.

My guess is it actually is a 55' with major updates. from mid 80's (1984 or so - 1990). It could also be a 1990 58' but I don't think it is because of a few things that don't seem right.

Did it pop the lines and damage the dock again during the second sinking?

Maybe its a 58 but they count the Pulpit American flag as the difference (like Fountains beak)!

I noticed the same thing. Looks like it was customized. The post-'91's had the molded in "arch" into the hard top. The enclosed bridge looks like it was copied from a late 90's design

HHAHAHAHA.

The 1990 58' had the arch from the factory and that arch did not have the window that the 1991+ Oceans had. So that matches the 58 but I haven't seen one with that many deck hatches, and the early 58's also had goofy looking side vents / drain area. The 55's though had that many deck hatches and had a long central side drain that ocean usually has.

On another note, anyone that has spent any time on an Ocean with the arch knows why they put the plexiglass into the arch. you sit right by it and look through it all the time.

Probably too much info to share/make sense but I'm a SF lover, Ocean especially because we had a Viking then Ocean and I have to say the Ocean is no comparison to the other boats it goes against... even though it gets no credit.

Been a yacht broker for 15 years. Had my first boat when I was 9. Although I'm a hi-perf guy 80% of my business (profit) was done in the brokerage field with boats over 40'. Hell these fast boats just COST me moneyLOL
