Only one boat can think of that will fit that bill.

26 degree deadrise
27/7 SUTPHEN!

They cant wait to build one for someone from the new molds.

The new boats have so many great upgrades seriously take a good look into it. I can probably help you save a few bucks on New one too if you send me a PM

or if your looking for an older boat I know of a few used sutphens in that size.

You can get a 28 Pantera with twin 525's? The one pictured is a single.

Yes, in a straight bottom 28.

The stepped bottom 28(like in the pic) would be single engine only.

Thanks Griff, love the look of that one.

How about a 32' Sunsation?

Would fit in slip, over 80mph, twins, reliable Mercury 496's, many to chose from...
New or pre-owned!

28 Apache
292 Formula
28 Saber

Very hard to get a well balanced 28ft boat with twins.

Talked to Jo a couple of weeks ago and the impression I got was you could get twins with the stepped hull.

I don't see a reason why a stepped hull couldn't handle twins. BTW it's Jo not Joe...

Sorry I corrected it.

Their 28 straight hull porpoises like a dolphin with twin big blocks, even after 20+ years of production. Who wants to be the $150K guinnie pig for their new hull?

I wouldn't put twins in that 28 er 30ft outerlimits either because that is not what the hull was designed for. Even cigarette could not balance a 30ft boat with twin big blocks. It is much harder than people realize. I know for a fact the 28 Apache is balanced very well. The saber and 292 formula was just a guess as I have not heard any porpoise complaints about those boats. If you want new, buy today, boat tomorrow, 28ft, twin engines, I'd get the 292 formula. Nice heavy 24 degree deadrise boat with decent build quality.
