Funny I was thinking this from the onset.....If I was in the market for a new boat of any brand I might reach out to a specific owner to see what they like/dislike about the brand or what are the best options to get but certainly wouldn't post an open end thread.

How do you re-board the boat from the water?

That 40K is not coming back at resale. Look at OSO classifieds, the Lipship boats don't pull a 40K premium on identical year/power Cigs.

Curious, when was the last time Phil quoted you a price?

Never.....Just saw in a Powerboat article that the "Lipship" package was 40K (I believe it was the Purple 42X 700 boat). http://www.boatingmag.com/cigarette-42x

I wouldn't build a new Cigarette. I like Nortechs far better! :D

Fair enough but the article really doesn't identify what was included as a part of that package on that particular boat, and occured several years ago...a large part of the cost could very well be the custom paint. Based on my personal experience I found Phil to be very competive in his pricing and his customer service is exemplary.

Tommy,

Love those large exhaust tips Phil put on.

Cut a check, go boating tomorrow! :)

Double wall Corsa tips...totally interchangeable can take'em right off and put the stock mufflers back on. (Phil's idea).

That purple boat had many one off stuff that Phil did custom including some interior stuff. The "Lip-Ship package" doesn't cost any more than any other dealer except when he starts actually putting stuff into/on the boat. "Stuff" costs money. The added little things that Phil does are included in the "Lip-Ship package" thus PBM listed the package as a 40k upgrade.

Bottom line...Buy from Phil, you wont regret it.
