Fuel in tank during winter storage
Im sure this subject has been brought up before. What do you guys think?

As empty as you can then fill up in the beginning of the season. I tried with the full tanks and had issues all year this year. Granted the boat sat for a year unused but what a nightmare this year has been changing filters all the time.

The quality and shelf life of the 10% ethanol gasoline is terrible. My opinion is to run it as low as possible and treat whats left with star-tron and fill with fresh in the spring.

The school of thought was top off tanks until ethanol came along. |
I drain all of mine out.

I typically run it as low as possible, but frankly I don't give it much thought. However, up hear in Wisconsin or the Upper Midwest, a few fella's I know topped off...HUGE mistake. They found gas leaking when it expanded...so anything around a 1/4 tank is fine with a little Stable...just don't top those pups off.

Stabil and around a 1/4 tank. Fill up before first startup.
