Florida passed a law that just went into effect limiting the sales tax to a maximum of $18,000. no matter what the cost of the boat is. It is 6% up to the $18000. max. It was done to stimulate the large boat market and repair business in Florida.

No PP tax in Nebraska. If you register with the state of NE, then its 5.5%-7% sales tax depending on where you live. If you USCG register, then you don't even pay sales tax or register it at all with the state of NE. State registration is $65 for 3 years.

Annual Real Estate taxes are 2-3% depending on where you live. My neighbor pays almost 18k a year. Mine are just over 6k a year.

Texas has no PPT, but sales tax depends on the county. A one time 8.25% sales tax and yearly registration for trailer and boat, but cheap around $70 each. No income tax, property taxes run me around $5800/yr.
