Default Has anyone ever dyed their boat cover??

I want to go from red to purple, I heard it can be done , has anyone done it??

Just remember the darker the color the hotter under the cover. Biggest mistake I have made as a boater was having my full cover made dark green to match my graphics. Five minutes in the sun after putting cover on boat the temp. is 150 degrees. Makes any white plastic parts yellow faster...
