LMAO! I haven't heard anyone talk about a "3/4 race cam" since the late 70's. Classic. I also used to hear guys tell me they had a "Corvette motor" under the hood. Oooooo, hopefully not the feared L-48 350!

Thanks for the tip. Yes, cooler air is denser, but not 300hp.

Also, the 557 vs 582 debate.... If you compared a 557 vs 582 where both motors had the same specs (cam, compression, heads, intake, etc...), there would be approximately 1lb of boost difference.

Regardless, great numbers Dustin, I know it wasn't easy Can't wait to see how it runs in your monster cat!

i am sure there is more to the story and the engine build than just my .02 i added and i agree with you. i dream and live vicariously through everyone on this site...nice power!

Do the twin 4.0L whipples make more power than a 8.3L Whipple everything else equal?
