Exclamation Torch Marina Theft!

Well last night Torch Marina @ Torch Lake, MI was hit for the second time this year...5 or 6 boats in a row were broke into and stripped of all their audio. Earlier this summer the building was broken into and all registers and other various items were stolen. Just a heads up and reminder of what we all already know- their still are low-life scum out there willing to take what the rest of us go to work everyday to earn. If anyone has any information at all or stumbles on something I know John at the marina would be very grateful. Thanks guys!

The previous problem was in the in the main building and has been addressed. I dont think john wanted to put cameras in on the all the docks.

With PTZ cameras (pan tilt zoom) it eliminates some of the need for more stationary cameras. It requires some extra work during installation and the price is higher but, it is so worth it. I can zoom-in to something about the size of a license plate almost 300ft away and make it my whole screen. With remote access via network hook-up, it can be viewed and adjusted from anywhere in the world. There is even capability for off-site storage of the video so that if someone steals the recorder the data is not lost.

Yup its me. Anything taken from your boat? It is unfortunate...with some of the wild $hit that goes on around there Im not sure I would care for the cameras. On the other hand it would keep things sucure and might be interesting to watch some of the action around there!

No thankfully my boat was at Jeff and Renea's not at the marina... I would have been sick if they got all my audio :s . As long as they didn't review the cams just to be nosey I think they'd be a good idea... bc ur right theres some crazy nights up there haha
