Default Where do you buy your mercury parts from

I like to buy all mercury parts and filters for my boat. Was wondering where everyone bought there parts from. I like to order online from BAM mercruiserparts.com but im not happy with the shipping. I dont want to run down to a local marina and order the parts and go back and pick them up. It always takes alot of time for them to look up parts and the second trip sucks. Would be fine if i had the time. Looking for ideas and what you guys do. Is there another online site?

BAM gives a small online discount that usually makes up for the shipping. I have found my local dealers are charging above retail and don't stock chit. I get it just as quick from BAM with less hassle. They have excellent customer service.

My local marine shop, they are very close to me and always less expensive than anyone else. I also give them a lot of business so that may help with pricing. Usually can get me what I need within a couple of days if they don't have it.

Yea, Boatfix is hard to beat on most items and their shipping is reasonable.

I order from a local dealer most of the time but I look up the part I need on BAM mercruiserparts.com to check the price and get the part number. Then I can call the dealer and have them look it up also so I can verify that they're ordering the right part at a fair price. The price is usually within a couple of dollars but if not I order from BAM.
