Lunati Blower series Cranks, Oliver Rods, JE Pistons, total seal rings, Dart Heads with a TON of port work. I have the dyno video....they broke 1200 ft lbs around 3500 to 3600rpm. We started the pulll at 4000 rpm and they made 1134ft lbs at that point. They idle like a 500 efi and you my wife can dock it. Shifts in and out of gear and NEVER touch the throttles. They are tuned on the money. All you do is ride and change oil. The throttle response is unbelievable. House of Color Paint. Serpentine drive, Etc....etc. These engines look as good from the back or bottom as they do from the the top or front. They do not leak oil and the driviability and fuel consumption is like a great big 500 Merc. Motors are in the boat. If interested, we can take the boat out and let the motors speak for themselves. Warranty is available. These are not cheap engines and you get what you pay for. If you want 5 to 6 summers of trouble free boating then this is the set up for you. PM me if interested.

Thanks!

What kind of boost where u running?

Thank you Skydog

We have some 1000HP Zull's out of a 42 MTI. 510CID, 5 Liter Whipple (Very Cool), 7600RPM, Oberg's were clean when they came out. I would have them gone thru, but the price is cheap. 618-410-6356 Worth the call.

Is 7600 rpm's normal for around a 1000 hp?

It is with 510 inches of motor. Whcih will also not last a season at that kind of RPM. Remember ours are built on 598ci platforms. They are overbuilt.....produce gobs off power everywhere in the rpm band and you dont have to wind them much past 5500 rpm to get there. Thats why you have 300 trouble free hours on your motors. If someone buys those motors...goes through them... you still have a jacked up combination of miss matched parts. You could buy mine and be boating for years to come. :)

Don't forget I have your poker run dvd over here at the shop. Stop by when you are in the neighborhood or I can buy lunch one day this week.

Thunderusone,

Are you repowering your OL or selling? Your boat is one of my all time favorites!

I am not repowering (right now) or selling the OL. These motors are in my 38 Stryker. I may sell the Stryker or the motors (and put some smaller power 500 to 600hp in it to sell it) . Ideally, I would like to sell the Stryker and keep these motors. I would like to put a bigger set up in the OL and I would love to use these 598's as the platform....put 5 liters on them and change them into 1400's. These are the the best 1000hp engines I have ever owned. Here are some pics of the boat I am talking about. I will probably list it in the classifieds. Someone could part it out and still get a free boat for what I am going to probably ask for it. EVERYTHING in it is BRAND NEW....all the rigging, interior, engines, drives.....and it is a 100mph non stepped 38' V hull built off of a 38 cig bottom with a top deck that Stryker made. Has ALOT more headroom than a Cig. It is an awesome boat. I bought it new in 1995 and I had just finished a total restoration when I bought the OL a year and half ago. It and the OL sit in a climate controlled shop....so they don't age. :)
