I've got two 632 inch dry sump 950's with Bam trannies and dry sixes. Gotta go . . . . . complete installations, still in boat.

They do not have a lot of low end torque but have a wide power band at the top. I would not put them in a big heavy v bottom. They would be awesome in a small cat like a 36 or 388 skater.
Did you change the crank? What esle was done to them?

If someone buys those motors...goes through them... you still have a jacked up combination of miss matched parts. You could buy mine and be boating for years to come.

Don't forget I have your poker run dvd over here at the shop. Stop by when you are in the neighborhood or I can buy lunch one day this week.
It just seemed like a lot of rpm's to run and a 5.0 and make that amount of hp, seemed like it should make more. 598ci must make a big difference.

I have seen Thunderusone's engines run several times. They start and idle like a 500 EFI. They totally changed my outlook of big carb engines. They hit hard but start at the hit of the key.

Not sure. Probably just like what Mercury had. The only other visual thing is MSD Ignition. Richie could tell you more.
