Thumbs up Lunch w/ STATEMENT MARINE!

A beautiful day down in Tampabay, and what made it better is the phone call I got from Nick, to come down to the ramp at lunch time to test out the Statement 50 Cat. So I get there and ask what are we testing out now? New Ventilators, ok what was wrong with the one's that were in the boat now? Nothing but we want to try bigger holes, so we had 2" holes now we put in 5'' ventilation holes. We want to see if the release of more air will work. Well we went out and tested the new vents. Now I have been on the boat at least 5 times first person to do 180mph on it, and thought it drove great then, but now it was amazing how a 3" bigger hole to 5" vent the air out made that boat ride. From start off to 30 mph straight as an arrow 60 to 100 to 160 the boat ran great and even coming off plain. It's amazing the release of the air breaks the suction when coming on plain and off. Got some cool pictures will post them up.

Just loaded another clip of us crusing around 164mph, and you see how the boat handles . Look at the driver's hand on the wheel, like we were going for a sunday drive down the intercoastel.

We have vented a few cats in the notches at the transom. One outboard cat could barely plane off before we put four 1" holes in the notch for vents. Then it took off like a drag boat with the water released. The 50' Statement is simply an incredible machine.

Didn't the boat sink when you drilled 1" holes in the bottom?
